If the moles are cancerous, that skin cancer can metastasize (spread) to other areas of the body and you can die that way.

If you have had the moles for quite a long time and they are the same size then you are fine. If they begin to change color or size, they can possibly be malignant and spread….and left untreated can lead to death.

Have a nice evening. Kinda weird to say after explaining cancerous moles right?

melonoma..
type of skin cancer which can be caused from tanning beds or too much sun without sunscreen.

the moles look abnormally different from regular moles. If there is something abnormal growing on your skin go to a dermatologist.

You can only die from skin moles if they are cancerous. You can trust most dermatologists but that is up to you, and who you pick. Some are honest and some are not.

Well, you can’t actually die from a mole, but malignant melanoma can look just like one and that is often fatal, so it pays to see a doctor and get that sort of thing checked out.
As for whether you can trust your dermatologist or not, although doctors are humans, not saints, and I’m sure there are some people out there who just want to make money by any means possible, even in our profession, it is VERY rare (and totally unethical) for a doctor to lie to a patient in order to be able to perform more procedures for his own gain (plus it’s not very easy to do, you would need every doctor who looked at the test results at all points along the line to say the same lie or expose yourself to tremendous liability).
So although we can be wrong, I don’t think that many doctors would deliberately lie in the way you seem to suspect.
