Help i just found out that i have a mole on my face. It’s dark, small and flat. But i don’t think it’s considered a beauty mark since it’s on my cheek and i **** it. I just got it and i have no idea why.
What causes moles to appear on your skin? How can you prevent or get rid of them?

If you spend alot of time tanning or out in the sun, there’s your answer
you could have skin cancer. you should see a docter.

Moles are clusters of pigmentation in the skin. When you come into contact with UV light (the sun or sunbeds), this pigmentation is excited and starts moving to the surface of the skin. This is what a tan is and why it fades over winter, when you don’t get as much exposure to the sun.
As for the comment, it might be skin cancer, forget it!! That’s just scare mongering. As long as the mole stays relatively even in colour and shape, you should be ok. Just keep an eye on it. You won’t be able to get rid of it, so I suggest you just do your best to ignore it. Sorry!!
